Fortran 90

If you wish to recompile the TELEMAC-MASCARET system from its source code to tune the compiler optimisation to your processor or if you need to input your own Fortran code to model the specifics of your application (boundary, initial conditions, special output variable, etc.) a Fortran compiler must be installed on your computer (compatible with standard Fortran 95). Fortran compilers can either be downlo…

MPI-2 Standard

If you wish to use the TELEMAC system in its parallel form, you will need to install at least one implementation of the Message Passing Interface (MPI-2) standard, two of which are highlighted below: the MPICH2 implementation or the OpenMPI implementation. Both are freely available for Linux and MS Windows operating systems supporting both 32b and 64b mode.

Python 2.7

As a minimum, this installation of the TELEMAC-MASCARET system requires the Python scripting language installed on your computer (standard Python 2.7). As of version v6p3 any version of Python 2.7 will do (from 2.7.0 to 2.7.5). If you are not yet at a stage of using the TELEMAC-MASCARET system in its parallel mode and you do not need to re-write parts of the scientific Fortran code to include specificities of your own application, Python is all you n…
